Interested in joining our team?
The New Rochelle Humane Society relies on volunteers to assist in many ways, such as walking dogs, socializing cats, fund-raising and special events.
To become a volunteer, you must complete the following four steps:
Step 1 - Complete the appropriate volunteer application.
- Adult Volunteer Application (18 years and over)
- Junior Volunteer Application (14-17 years of age)
- Family Volunteer Application (Parent/Legal Guardian with children 10-13 years)
Step 2 - Submit your application to our shelter via mail, fax, or in person.
Step 3 - Read the Volunteer Handbook. If you cannot access this file, you can pick up a copy at our shelter. Please be sure to read through the handbook prior to the volunteer orientation.
Step 4 - Attend a volunteer orientation (click here for upcoming dates).
